Job Description
We are growing. We’ve already got a brilliant team of talented creative people but now we want to add to it. More talent. More ideas. More perspectives. More people who can help us take on bigger opportunities, push the work further and continue building the kind of creative studio we want to have.
We work across an increasingly broad mix of branding, campaigns, websites, digital experiences and marketing communications for some wonderfully brilliant clients and brands.
So, rather than looking for one very specific person to fill one very specific role, we’re opening our doors to a broader range of creative talent.
We want to hear from:
• Designers at all levels – junior, midweight to senior designers working across brand, campaigns, print, digital and web.
• Digital and web designers – people who understand brands and know how to turn them into useful, engaging digital experiences.
• Copywriters – people who can develop an idea, find a tone of voice, write a brilliant headline and make complicated things beautifully simple.
• Creative thinkers – conceptual creatives, art directors, writer-thinkers and people who are simply very good at coming up with ideas.
You might specialise in one thing. You might comfortably move between several. All are interesting to us.

What we’re looking for
Whatever your discipline or level, there are some things we value.
• You’re committed, proactive and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• You care about ideas as much as execution.
• You take pride in your craft and have excellent attention to detail.
• You can explain your thinking and contribute to creative conversations.
• You enjoy collaborating with people from different disciplines.
• You want to keep learning, improving and pushing the work.
• You’re comfortable moving between different clients, sectors and types of brief.
• You’re permitted to work in the UK and you can work from our London studio four days a week, with Fridays normally working from home. (these are not remote roles)
• You have at least (but not limited too) 1-2 years of agency and industry experience. This can include internships, freelance or short term contracts.
• For designers, we’d expect strong skills in the tools appropriate to your discipline, whether that's Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, After Effects or something else entirely.
• For writers and conceptual creatives, we want to see how you think as well as what eventually got made.
What you can expect
• Opportunity – join a growing agency and help create what comes next for us.
• Variety – work across branding, campaigns, print, digital, websites and communications for a wide mix of clients.
• Input – your ideas will be heard. On projects, on the studio and on Hatched itself.
• Responsibility – we’re small enough that good people quickly get the chance to make a real impact.
• Great people – join an incredibly talented, versatile, committed and lovely existing team.
• Beautiful office environment – our top-floor Exmouth Market studio with rather lovely views across London.
• 23 days holiday + Christmas break* – with holiday allowance increasing based on tenure.
• 4 + 1 working – four days together in the studio and Fridays working from home. We believe our best collaboration, creativity and development happens when we’re together.
• Community support days – if you’re working on a community or charity project, you can take time to support it without using your holiday allowance.
• New business bonus – introduce Hatched to a new client and receive a bonus if it leads to project work.
• Recruitment bonus – introduce us to someone brilliant and receive a bonus when they complete their probation (3 months).
*There may be rare occasions where deadlines require some work during the Christmas closure. This would be at the Directors' discretion.
