Arrow Films is a UK based film distributor, releasing both home entertainment product and on digital platforms across the UK and North America. Arrow specialises in restoration, curation and is considered one of the leading boutique film labels in the world.
Arrow Films are looking for a passionate Graphic designer to work chiefly across our upcoming Home Entertainment & digital release slate and our brand marketing and promotional materials.
With a view to focus primarily on new release product, the successful candidate will work within the Marketing department to assist in the development of visually engaging content and marketing materials such as print ads, key art, promotional materials and with design, layout and final upload of our physical release sleeves and additional materials for print.
The role will work across various teams in the business such as the Operations team, where you will work closely on aligning with upload deadlines for print materials, the wider Sales team where there will be regular assets needed for both B2B and B2C outlets, and, with the Content team who will collaborate on the design / layout work for new product.
The role will evolve in line with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Creating and producing graphic design work across the Arrow estate.
Ability to multitask effectively and work on multiple projects at once and hit deadlines
Working with key internal stakeholders to plan out projects and the desired approach.
Creating assets in multiple formats to cover the whole release lifecycle - including theatrical, home entertainment and digital and organic and paid social campaigns.
Developing bespoke content for international festivals and events, SVOD services and other key contacts
Working with key departmental stakeholders to ensure all content is supplied in the correct format and adheres to specific needs per platform
Adapting existing assets for social, PR and marketing purposes
Ad hoc assistance across teams with design needs
Keep appraised of continual changing market conditions and the competitor landscape.
Qualifications & Experience required
2–4 years’ professional experience in a graphic design role (agency or in-house)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual storytelling
Knowledge and experience delivering marketing materials across multiple platforms including theatrical, digital and print
Strong knowledge across the Microsoft Office suite of applications, and familiarity with internal communication and planning systems such as Teams and / or Asana.
Experience in video editing is desired but not essential
