Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive and exceptionally organised Studio & Production Manager to join our small creative team in West London. Responsible for managing production and coordinating the studio’s day to day administrative tasks, the successful candidate will be organised, enthusiastic, and have previous experience in a studio management or production management role or comparable skillset to move into a creative environment.
Description:
You will work collaboratively with the wider team to organise and efficiently manage a range of creative production projects as well as the inner workings of a busy studio. This is a great opportunity to step in and shape this position. You will be working closely with Designers, Illustrators, Archivists and Curators in an immersive studio culture. Candidates must be happy to work in all aspects of the studio, in such a small team the roles are not always tightly defined, and it will be crucial to work collaboratively and off your own initiative.
Alongside our Senior design team, the candidate will work together to keep commercial and residential production projects organised and on track. Day to day tasks may involve supporting production of residential and commercial assets, HR tasks such as recruitment, holidays, contracts, training and team events. Other responsibilities include general upkeep of studio facilities, post and courier deliveries, supply management and managing invoices.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and InDesign, would also be ideal but not essential.
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience as a studio manager/production manager/assistant in an art related environment.
- Excellent organisation, written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate; with a thorough understanding of logistics, international deliveries and scheduling.
- Understanding and awareness of the Hospitality sector, its aesthetic and culture
- A positive, proactive attitude
