Job Description

This is a Senior Project Manager role at a hospitality design studio working with the biggest names in our sector. We are a studio of designers, writers, artists and strategists passionate about the space where hospitality and design meet.

We’re expanding our London studio and are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team.

This is a senior, client-facing role. You will lead key client projects across brand strategy, visual identity, interiors, web and digital, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standard, on time, and with clarity for both our clients and internal teams.

At Crown Creative, project management is not simply about timelines and administration. Our Project Managers are central to how the studio operates. They create clarity, protect the quality of the work, build strong client relationships, and help our creative teams do their best thinking.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware, calm under pressure, and confident managing multiple fast-moving projects at once. You should be able to move comfortably between client communication, internal planning, strategic thinking, copywriting, research, production detail and project delivery.

This person will report to the Managing Director, and will work closely with our Creative Director, Brand Strategists, Designers, Interior Designers and Web team.

We’re very much a team at Crown Creative, so we leave our egos at the door in our studio.

While Crown Creative promotes a flexible working environment, we require this person to be based in London, or be willing to relocate, and to have full-time availability. You must currently have the right to work in the UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ROLE

  • Lead the day-to-day management of assigned client projects across brand strategy, visual identity, interiors, web and digital.
  • Serve as the primary contact and face of Crown Creative for assigned clients.
  • Manage and develop strong client relationships, ensuring clients feel informed, supported and confident in the process.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and ensuring they understand Crown Creative’s process, standards and approach to project delivery.
  • Create and manage project timelines, status reports, meeting agendas, meeting summaries and key project documentation.
  • Oversee the delivery of assigned client engagements, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within agreed scope, and ready for internal and external presentation.
  • Update job cards for your assigned projects to ensure jobs are being completed on budget.
  • Lead external client meetings and facilitate internal project status meetings.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to identify project risks, scope changes, resourcing needs and commercial considerations.
  • Create clear, useful briefs that allow our design, strategy, interiors and web teams to create the best strategic and visual outcome for our client partners.
  • Communicate strategic recommendations, project updates, arising issues and next steps to clients, team members and leadership on a regular basis.
  • Conduct market, hospitality and landscape research for client projects, forming clear conclusions and insights.
  • Support the writing of strategy, brand and presentation copy where required.
  • Proof and review studio output with a critical eye for detail, ensuring errors, inconsistencies or missed opportunities are caught before work is sent to the client.
  • Coordinate the production of client deliverables with third-party suppliers when required.
  • Support the delivery of photoshoots, print production, signage, digital launches and other project outputs where relevant.
  • Continually uphold, define and improve the Project Management process and how we deliver work at Crown Creative.
  • Share, drive and explore creative ideas with an imaginative and curious mind.
  • Immerse yourself in research in order to stay abreast of cutting-edge trends in design, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, culture and guest experience.
  • Maintain organised project files, documentation and handovers across Dropbox and relevant studio systems.

SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS

  • Possess a ‘get it done’ mentality and are excited to solve any sort of problem, no matter the complexity.
