A little snapshot of what is happening in the studio currently:
- Crafting building identities for London’s most design-led property developers
- Full strategic support and brand word creation for an ambitions restaurant, aiming for 3 Michelin stars on re-opening
- A start-up condiment brand for a product with a unique market niche
- Editorial design for a new magazine with a global distribution focussing on luxury travel
- Engaging and interactive reporting for one of the world’s leading charitable foundations
⸻
About POST
POST is a small, multidisciplinary creative studio working across brand identity, way-finding, environments and print, often in close collaboration with architects, developers, editors and makers.
We care about clarity and craft, creating thoughtful work that’s built for the real world and designed to last.
⸻
The role
This is a hands-on senior role with real responsibility. This isn’t a position where you direct from a distance. You’ll be designing, testing, adjusting, and caring about the small stuff every day.
You’ll lead projects from early thinking through to delivery, shaping concepts, building systems, refining details and making sure the work stands up in practice. You’ll work closely with clients and collaborators, present work clearly and confidently, and stay involved right down to the small decisions, that make things feel right.
You’ll work closely with the Creative Director, helping maintain clarity and momentum across projects, supporting ideas as they move from concept to reality.
Within the team, you’ll also be a sounding board for junior designers, sharing your thinking clearly and generously.
If we had to sell this role, it’s about potential. We’re riding a wave, and we’re looking for the right people to get on board and help steer.
⸻
Who this is for
This role would suit a senior designer who:
- Cares deeply about craft, typography and how things are made
- Likes joining the dots and creating worlds that makes sense as a whole
- Enjoys taking ownership of work, seeing work through from initial designs to delivery
- Values in-person collaboration and clear, open communication
- Wants to play an active role in shaping a growing studio, not just contributing to individual projects
The role is ideally suited to someone aiming to step into a Design Director role within the next 12–24 months. This hire takes our full-time team from 5 to 6, and is the first step in a planned growth to 8.
You won’t be lost in a hierarchy. Your voice, judgement and ideas will matter.
⸻
What you’ll be doing
- Leading projects across brand identity, signage, print and digital
- Developing clear concepts and translating them into robust design systems
- Sweating the details: typography, materials, execution
- Presenting work confidently and thoughtfully to clients
- Collaborating with architects, consultants and fabricators where required
- Mentoring junior designers and helping raise the overall quality of the work
- Contributing to the studio’s culture and conversations
- Helping shape the studio’s creative direction as we grow
⸻
What we’re looking for
- At least 5+ years’ experience
- A portfolio showing strong brand and typographic skills alongside strategic thinking
- Excellent craft across physical, print and digital design
- Confidence working independently with good judgement and organisation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment when needed, without compromising quality
- Able to prioritise, make decisions, and keep momentum across multiple projects
- Clear, calm communication. You can explain ideas without over-selling them
- Comfortable presenting to clients and discussing work openly
- Strong skills in Adobe CC and Figma
- Motion or 3D experience is a bonus, not a requirement
Most importantly: someone curious, dependable and thoughtful, who enjoys collaboration and takes pride in doing things properly.
⸻
What it’s like to work here
We’re a small, close-knit studio that values visual clarity, calm thinking and good conversation. We take the work seriously, but not ourselves. There’s space to contribute ideas, shape projects, and grow without unnecessary noise or ego.
We have a clear strategy for where POST is heading over the next five years, and we’re looking for people who want to help realise that potential, not just turn up and execute.
Employment details, benefits and working arrangements will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
⸻
If this sounds like you, we’d love to see your work.
