Job Description

THE ROLE

Object & Animal represents a diverse collective of directors, photographers, and versatile visual artists. We produce distinctive commercial and independent work that helps shape contemporary culture worldwide.

We’re looking for a Creative Assistant to support our Creative Manager across a range of brand-building activities.

This role would suit a highly creative, digitally minded generalist who enjoys bringing ideas to life across different formats. You’ll ideally have experience across design, photography/video capture and editing, with a strong eye for visual storytelling and a genuine interest in creative culture and emerging trends.

You’ll be proactive, organised, confident and full of ideas. Someone who can help shape how the brand shows up, connect with new audiences and contribute to a wide variety of creative projects. This is an opportunity to work closely with the Creative Manager and EPs to grow the brand’s profile across digital platforms, campaigns and industry channels.

A passion for creative development and the ability to work across social media, presentations, image research, treatments, newsletters, website, events and brand materials is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing & Team Support

  • Provide day-to-day support to the wider team across ongoing projects and department priorities.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, schedules and weekly updates.
  • Help coordinate project information, deadlines, credits and assets to ensure campaign output runs smoothly.
  • Support general organisation and administration across marketing channels.

Website & Digital Content

  • Support the ongoing development and upkeep of the website.
  • Curate and upload content with a strong understanding of brand presentation and storytelling.
  • Anticipate upcoming launches and gather relevant assets to ensure timely updates.
  • Optimise assets to fit the output format.

Creative & Design Support

  • Support creative research, treatments and visual development
  • Assist with brand development and creative initiatives.
  • Create and support the design of internal and external presentations, newsletters, posters and digital content.
  • Edit video content including reels, case studies and campaign materials
  • Provide design support across wider studio projects where needed
  • Assist with title credits and graphic assets for films and campaigns.

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Monitor performance, track results and report on key metrics.
  • Highlight industry recognition including awards, nominations and achievements.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content from shoots and events, including photography and video, to create enga
  • Help deliver the social media strategy across key platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Create engaging, high-quality content that reflects the brand’s creative output.
  • Stay up to date with platform changes, trends and audience behaviours.ging social assets.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using the following software: InDesign, Readymag, Figma, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Interest in design and design techniques- with the ability to explore and gather information from various sources.
  • Interest in AI tools such as Artlist, Elevenlabs, Higgsfield.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to evolving project requirements and timelines.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A creative mindset, with a passion for exploring new ideas, trends, and technologies.
  • Base level of understanding of CMS’s and back-end website technicalities
