Account Manager (License Product Industry)

📍 London (5 days a week, in-office)

💰 £40,000–£48,000 DEO + uncapped commission opportunity

About RDP Creative

RDP is a market leader in the design and manufacture of promotional and retail merchandise for global entertainment brands and IP rights holders.

We bring brands, characters and entertainment properties to life through creative products that connect with audiences around the world. Our work spans film, TV, gaming, theme parks and some of the world's most recognisable brands.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, commercially minded Account Manager to join our London team, build strong client relationships and help grow our business.

Role Overview

As Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and developing one of RDP's key client accounts in the entertainment space, acting as a trusted day-to-day partner and identifying opportunities to grow this piece of business.

Working closely with your Account Director and our Project Management, Design and Operations teams, you'll help turn client briefs into successful campaigns and products — from initial ideas through to delivery.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining client relationship management, commercial development and project coordination. You'll have the opportunity to work with exciting entertainment IP, contribute creative ideas and develop your career within a growing business.

You'll have an annual sales target, with an uncapped commission opportunity linked to your commercial performance.

Your Key Responsibilities

Client Relationships

• Manage day-to-day relationships across your portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.

• Build trusted, long-term relationships that drive client satisfaction, retention and growth.

• Understand client objectives, capture briefs accurately and communicate requirements clearly to internal teams.

• Respond to client enquiries promptly and professionally, aiming to respond within 24 hours.

Account Growth & Business Development

• Identify opportunities to develop existing accounts, generate additional revenue and introduce new products and ideas.

• Work with your Account Director to develop and deliver account growth plans.

• Contribute to proposals, presentations and new business opportunities.

• Take ownership of your commercial objectives and actively contribute to account profitability.

Project Delivery

• Work in partnership with Project Managers and internal teams to deliver projects from concept through to production and delivery.

• Help coordinate timelines, budgets, resources and client expectations to ensure projects run smoothly.

• Keep clients and internal stakeholders informed of progress, risks and key milestones.

• Ensure project briefs, approvals and deliverables are accurately captured and communicated.

Commercial & Operational Management

• Maintain accurate client, opportunity and pipeline information in our CRM.

• Support account planning, financial reporting and profitability reviews.

• Ensure relevant contracts, testing and compliance documentation are maintained.

• Look for ways to improve processes, collaboration and the overall client experience.

About You:

Essential

• Experience in account management, account coordination or a similar client-facing role, with the ability to demonstrate readiness to take ownership of client accounts.

• Experience in licensing, manufacturing, promotional products or a closely related industry.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• A commercially aware mindset, with an interest in identifying opportunities and growing revenue.

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to delivering great work for clients.

Desirable

• A passion for entertainment IP across film, TV, gaming, theme parks and consumer brands.

• Experience working with product development, manufacturing or licensing programmes.

• Experience using CRM systems and managing commercial pipelines.

Above all, we're looking for someone who takes ownership, enjoys building relationships, spots opportunities and wants to develop their career with us.

Career Development

We'll support your development through hands-on experience, mentoring and training, with opportunities to progress to Senior Account Manager or explore other roles within RDP as your interests and performance develop.

⦁ Base salary in line with experience.
