About Barlow & Co.
Barlow & Co. is a boutique design agency based in West London. We specialise in packaging design within the drinks industry (with a focus on wine) for some of the UK’s leading drinks retailers.
Culture is extremely important to us as an agency, it's as much about the talent as it is about how we operate as a team. We are a nimble team of wine, food and music loving humans who like spending time together. We’re full-time in the design studio in Chiswick, London and we’re looking for a curious and enthusiastic Design Intern / Graduate to join us.
About the Role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on design experience in an exciting and fast-paced industry. We’re less concerned about previous experience and more interested in finding someone with creative flair, a good eye for design, and a genuine interest in wine.
About You.
- Graduate in Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related creative discipline
- Passionate about design, branding, and typography
- Curious about wine, its culture, and the stories behind the brands
- Have a portfolio of creative work, whether from university or personal projects
- Some familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn
- Happy to get stuck in and contribute to a small, collaborative team
- An interest in wine packaging and label design
Nice to Have.
- Drinks experience or wine label experience
- Illustration or photography skills
- A willingness to explore new ideas and creative approaches

During your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Work alongside our designers on a variety of creative projects
- Respond imaginatively to briefs and contribute your own ideas
- Explore branding, packaging, typography, and design for the drinks industry
- Develop your technical skills and understanding of the design process
- Learn more about wine, its producers, and the industry
- Gain valuable studio experience and build your portfolio
