Job Description
Thirzie Hull Ltd is seeking a full-time Property Portfolio & Office Manager to work alongside our founder and small dedicated office team and external collaborators. As an extension of our brand, the ideal candidate will embody our commitment to elevation, integrity, and creativity in the realm of high-end residential Sales and Lettings.
Founded and eponymously named by Thirzie Hull in 2017 , Thirzie Hull Ltd is a creative estate agency representing homes of significant beauty and architectural interest. We combine traditional property representation with the personalized service of an in-house design studio, offering both Sales and Lettings to a discerning audience.
Lettings Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of our Lettings portfolio.
- Manage short-term and long-term contracts.
- Be the main point of contact for owners and tenants, including coordinating repairs and maintenance and handling enquiries.
- Re-contracting processes and appraisals.
- Conduct regular check-ins with property owners to maintain our bespoke service.
- Assist in appraising properties.
- Organise and carry out property viewings.
- Manage all legislative and administrative duties associated with current AML compliance for the agency.
- Manage all health & safety requirements relating to our lettings activities.
- Manage the lettings area of our website and portals.
- Accounting and reporting relating to our letting activities.
Studio & Galerie Responsibilities
- Contribute to website copy and social media content creation.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns.
- Support the development of our in-house homewares store and Galerie.
- Collaborate on creative projects that enhance our brand’s elevated aesthetic.
- Manage the store Shopify and inventory.
- Manage our physical inventory and packing systems.
- Assist in organising events and showroom appointments.
Office Responsibilities
- Streamline and manage contact lists and incoming leads/enquiries.
- Key and calendar management.
- Nurture relations with our external partners and collaborators.
- Assist in the delivery of our physical marketing campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in a lettings or property management role is preferred but not essential.
- Previous AML training is preferred; however, we can provide training for the right applicant.
- Strong interest in architecture, design and the property business.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.
- Exceptional writing skills.
- Proficiency in email and social media marketing.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Creative problem-solving skills and discretion in handling challenging situations.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a talent for building client relationship.
Work Schedule
- 40 hours per week.
- Based in the office at Durham Yard.
- Flexible hours carrying out viewing appointments etc, with rotating Saturday work (one-to-two Saturdays per month).
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet business needs.
Salary
- £32,000 per annum. Dependant on skills and experience.
- A generous commission structure will be introduced after the initial probationary period.
