The Team

An in-house team for a well-loved life-style brand scaling up this year. The team is highly collaborative and responsible for delivering best in class creative content across all brand touchpoints including website, campaigns, digital, social and packaging. This is a highly successful and supportive team, together in the studio 2 days a week with the flexibility to work from home the other 3 days.

The Opportunity

As Head of Brand Creative, you’ll have an opportunity to influence and own the creative direction of the brand, elevating the creative output in commercially minded but visually exciting ways. You’ll be a custodian of the brand, ensuring consistency and highly polished outcomes across all channels and platforms. You’ll work alongside the founders and senior stakeholders in the business to deliver the best expression of the brand, overseeing a small team and helping to build the internal design function with additional hires further down the line. As such, you’ll need to be comfortable and confident in a role that has a high level of conceptual involvement but also requires you to be hands on with the day-to-day design delivery (initially at least). The role would suit someone already established at this level or ready to step up into a leadership role with additional responsibilities.

Our Ideal Candidate

Has significant experience shaping and delivering creative work for lifestyle brands with a premium and polished aesthetic.

Is comfortable in a leadership role but equally enjoys being hands on with day-to-day design responsibilities.

Is commercially minded and adept at balancing brand storytelling and content creation with performance and business growth.

Has a strong creative vision and is inspiring and credible in creative discussions and meetings.

Continuously champions creative innovation and uses emerging consumer and design trends to successfully steer the brand and keep it culturally relevant.

Is a confident communicator and highly organised.

Has experience managing external partners and studios.

Previous experience building a creative team/function would be advantageous.
