Rivan Industries is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise industries you can’t electrify. We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground.
We’re looking for a Design and Creative Lead to help tell Rivan’s story to the world. We’re after someone who loves both design and content creation, with an appreciation for the subtleness of art-direction and taste for great visual content. You’ll take charge of our baseline of design and own all photography and videography at Rivan, helping position us as an advanced engineering company paving the way for synthetic fuels to decarbonise heavy industry.

The role:
Establish a consistent and exciting brand positioning across all of our design assets
- Take control of our Figma asset collection to improve our design (custom graphics, icons, layouts, spacing, rules, and colourways).
- This will include presentations, decks, general design packs, website graphics, and anything in-between.
- These assets span all of our partners, including investors, customers, and employees.
Create amazing photography content across every aspect of life at Rivan
- We have a world-class manufacturing facility we’re moving into (one of the largest in London), designed from scratch to enable a great group of engineers to build beautiful products. We want to capture that journey, from everyday engineering testing, to deployment of large hardware in the wild, to any exotic projects we have going on with new partners.
- You’ll have complete creative freedom to own all of this content. Write the brief, create set-up, execute the shoot and craft the edit.
Design beautiful and engaging videos
- Alongside our photography, we want to start telling our story through video content. Specifically, this will be designed to build our company brand to motivate more people to join, build our customer and investor confidence by showcasing our rapid R&D progression, and also tell the story to the UK government on how Rivan can be a core driver in our energy security aims.
- As above, we’re looking for someone that is comfortable to create these briefs, capture some of the shorter pieces themselves, and book specialists to help with larger campaigns.
Core skills:
- 2-3 years of experience
- A great design, photography and videography portfolio
Specifics:
- £50-60k base-salary
- Share options as part of the early team
- In-person work at HQ in South Bermondsey, London
