THE ROLE
Formation Games is looking for a designer with strong 3D experience to help develop the in-game visual assets and world for our mobile football game, CLUB. You'll be the connective tissue between feature concepts and what players actually experience in their hands. You'll take the lead on developing assets for features and live events, in line with the football and annual calendars, to appeal to audiences around the world. As a start-up, this is a role with plenty of growth opportunity and autonomy.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Own and evolve the visual language for in-game assets and live events, setting the vision alongside the UX/UI Lead and CMO.
- Work closely with the Senior Product Manager (Live Ops and Monetisation) to design and produce assets for in-game events and initiatives that drive engagement.
- Liaise with and manage partners to deliver world-class creative execution across game UI, cosmetics and campaigns.
- Over time, own the visual language from game to external campaigns, in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Work with internal departments (product, tech) on an ad hoc basis, supporting across digital, social and physical design applications.
RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE
- 3–5 years' experience in design with 3D deliverables, ideally including agency experience.
- Demonstrable experience across 3D and digital design.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
