Job Description
Come and join the team at Frank. We’ve been around for 25 years and have created some of the PR & Social industry’s most famous and award winning work - from big stunts like the rewilding of Trafalgar Square for innocent smoothies, to viral moments like Weetabix & Beans, or suggesting people pour their #MilkFirst before placing their Weetabix on top. And we’ve even taken campaigns all the way to Parliament, like our #GetFairAboutFarming campaign for Riverford Organic Farmers. We believe that ideas should be worth talking about. We call it Talkability(R), a registered trademark of the agency, which explains the little (R)
We’re looking for a junior creative designer to work across the agency, assisting on everything from idea generation, visualisation and social asset creation to assisting with shoots, editing videos and helping building the FRANK brand. We’re based in Farringdon where we come together to deliver work across some of the UK’s biggest and best brands in the consumer, corporate and social media space.
Your key roles and responsibilities:
• Produce beautiful, creative design work.
• Work with our Social Team to design engaging social media assets and content, in particular artwork, ads, video & reels
• Create pixel perfect design layouts with clear spacing and typography throughout
• Thinking independently, questioning the brief if something doesn’t seem right
• Encourage and inspire others to share and explore their ideas
• Help generate ideas with Talkability
• A willing-ess to learn is important, so we require you to keep up to date relevant software and keep skills up to date
• Staying up to date with creative and design trends
Skills Required:
• A thorough understanding of what content works best on various social media platforms
• Ability to work under pressure with fast turnarounds and tight deadlines
• Great understanding of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects (or equivalent), InDesign and Premier Pro
Our Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a strong team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude, the Frank culture is important to us; you should be able to build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues in all departments.
Whilst not a key factor, someone who understands how to film and capture great imagery and video would be a big bonus.
You should be motivated and naturally interested in design trends both commercially and creatively.
