Senior Designer

As a Senior Designer at OCD, you’ll be a key part of the creative team - turning strong ideas into sharp, high-quality design work across brand, campaign and content projects.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves making. You’ll work closely with our Creative Director to take creative direction, develop it properly and execute it to a very high standard across multiple touchpoints. You won’t need to be the person coming up with every big idea from scratch - but you will need to be the person who knows how to bring those ideas to life with taste and consistency.

We’re looking for someone with seriously solid design fundamentals, a sharp eye for layout and typography, and a strong ability to build polished, persuasive decks. You should be confident taking an initial route or creative thought and pushing it through into well-crafted, presentation-ready and rollout-ready design.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly proficient in brand design and thrives in a fast-paced studio environment and takes real pride in execution. A strong bonus would be experience in web / UI design, and motion design.

Design & Creative Development:

  • Work closely with the Creative Director to interpret and execute creative direction across live projects.
  • Take approved ideas, design routes and early-stage concepts and bring them to life with strong craft and consistency.
  • Develop high-quality visual assets across brand identities, pitch decks, campaign work, social content and wider design systems.
  • Build polished presentations and decks in Figma that communicate ideas clearly, confidently and with impact.
  • Apply strong typography, layout and visual hierarchy skills across every stage of the design process.
  • Translate rough thoughts, references or creative direction into resolved, presentation-ready work.
  • Design across a range of touchpoints including identity, campaign, social, web and digital applications.
  • Prepare clean, accurate files for internal handover, client presentation or external production.
  • Maintain a high level of detail, organisation and consistency across all outputs.
  • Help push the standard of design execution across the studio.

Workflow & Delivery:

  • Manage your own design workload across multiple live projects, balancing speed with quality.
  • Work efficiently within timelines and budgets without compromising the standard of the work.
  • Take ownership of design tasks from first draft through to final delivery.
  • Ensure files, presentations and assets are built cleanly and logically for easy team collaboration.
  • Respond positively and quickly to feedback, amends and shifting project needs.
  • Stay calm under pressure and deliver strong work across fast-paced deadlines.
  • Support the team in turning around proposals, creds decks, client presentations and new business materials to a very high standard.
  • Help keep the OCD brand moving by creating internal creative, pushing out case studies and sharpening how the studio shows up as work goes live.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, strategists, account team and producers to deliver strong creative work.
  • Be confident taking direction, contributing ideas where useful, and improving the quality of the work through strong execution.
  • Work across disciplines and formats depending on the brief, project stage and team needs.
  • Support junior designers or freelancers where needed by helping maintain quality and consistency.
  • Bring a positive, proactive attitude to the team and be someone people can rely on to get great work out the door.
  • OCD Brand building:
  • Participate in marketing/ PR initiatives and contribute to the overall culture of the agency.
  • Help shape how OCD shows up visually across our own materials, social channels, presentations and case studies.
  • Support the team in making our own brand feel as sharp and considered as the work we create for clients.
  • Bring ideas, references and creative energy that help push the studio forward.

New Biz

  • Support pitch processes with strong visual thinking and standout presentation design.
  • Help turn early creative thoughts into decks and materials that feel sharp, persuasive and well crafted.
  • Build proposal, creds and pitch materials that clearly communicate ideas and reflect the standard of the agency.
  • Have an always on attitude when it comes to improving what we put in front of new and existing clients.

Key Skills/Experience:

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 4–6+ years of experience in a creative studio, branding agency or integrated agency environment.
  • A strong portfolio that shows excellent execution across brand design and presentation / deck design.
  • Highly proficient in Figma / Adobe
  • Strong design fundamentals across typography, composition, layout and visual systems.
  • Someone who is fast, reliable, highly organised and genuinely cares about craft.
  • Comfortable working from creative direction and turning it into polished, client-ready work.
  • Confident working across multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A sharp eye for detail and consistency across every part of the design process.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experience in web / UI design is a bonus.
  • Experience in motion design is a bonus, but not essential.
