Job Description

The Studio

Regular Practice is an East London creative studio led by Tom Finn and Kristoffer Sølling. We build brands and visual identities for creatively ambitious people — playful yet carefully considered work that moves them into new, forward-thinking positions.

We’re sector-agnostic by choice: fashion, tech, culture, hospitality, FMCG and beyond, pulling ideas from one world into the next for clients like Adidas, Acne Studios, Fred Perry, Uniqlo and the Design Museum. Strategy and design sit under one roof, the team you meet is the team that does the work, and we obsess over the small things that make the big difference. Fifteen of us practise this daily — hence the name.

The Role

You’ll work inside live brand and packaging projects from day one — supporting senior designers, building out identity systems across their applications, and doing the unglamorous work that makes the glamorous work possible. Artwork, asset builds, deck production, type tests: this is where craft is actually learned, and we take teaching it seriously.

You’ll get real feedback, real responsibility that grows as you do, and a studio full of people whose job includes making you better.

What you’ll do

  • Support brand identity and packaging projects across the studio
  • Roll out identity systems: applications, artwork, asset libraries, guidelines
  • Help build client presentations and internal reviews
  • Test, iterate, and ask why — then ask why again
  • Keep files clean enough that anyone could pick them up (they will)

Who you are

  • A designer at the start of your career — a strong graduate portfolio or 1–2 years in a studio
  • You care about craft and detail — strong typography included — and it shows in your work
  • Confident in Adobe CC; some Figma; motion or type design a bonus
  • Curious, organised, unprecious — you’d rather hear the honest note than the kind one
  • Excited by brand work across sectors, and by getting the details right

What we owe you

  • £30,000
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus Christmas closure
  • Pension
  • Hybrid working — most of the week together in the studio, flex around it
  • Flexible start and finish times

How to apply

Email jobs@regularpractice.co.uk with the subject line “Junior Designer”. Send a PDF portfolio or link, and a short note on why this studio, why now. No cover-letter theatre — a good paragraph beats a bad page.

Deadline: Friday 31 July 2026. We’ll respond to everyone shortlisted.

We welcome and encourage applications from people under-represented in the creative industries.
