Job Description

About 20.20

From Arsenal to American Express, Adidas to Ascot - you'll find our design and strategy at the heart of some of the world's biggest brands. We're a branding experience agency that creates work that inspires and excites, and we need talented, dynamic people to make it all happen.

The Role

Behind every great creative studio is someone who makes sure everything runs like clockwork. That's where you come in.

We're looking for a warm, organised, and experienced Studio Manager to be the operational heartbeat of our Highbury studio. From welcoming new starters on day one to organising the team breakfasts everyone looks forward to, you'll be the person who keeps our studio humming.

Working closely with our MD, Client Services Team, and Financial Controller, you'll look after the day-to-day operations that support our growing team and help us work smarter as we evolve.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing our Recruitment & Operating Systems
  • Lead recruitment from start to finish—finding the right people to join our team
  • Give new starters a brilliant first impression with a smooth, welcoming onboarding
  • Coordinate training and development opportunities so everyone keeps growing
  • Manage our bi-annual review process
  • Manage our HR portal and act as the key link between our sector HR team and 20.20
  • Calculate holiday allowances and manage our holiday and sick pay systems
  • Keep track of absences with care and efficiency
  • Process and monitor timesheets

Resourcing the Studio

  • Build and maintain relationships with talented creative contractors
  • Manage onboarding and contracts with creative contractors
  • Manage our creative contractor database so we can always find the right person for the project
  • Run our weekly resourcing meeting

Supporting Finance & Operations

  • Assist the finance team with onboarding new suppliers
  • Support the senior team with contract administration
  • Make sure we've got everything we need, from office supplies to equipment
  • Arrange travel for the team
  • Handle adhoc tasks that pop up in a busy agency
  • Keep our Highbury studio a space people actually want to work in

Keeping the Studio Running

  • Organise our monthly breakfasts and twice-yearly celebrations (the fun stuff!)
  • Support our growth by creating better systems and processes
  • Keep our operations documentation clear and current

About You

  • 3+ years keeping a studio or agency running smoothly
  • Natural organisational skills and the ability to spin multiple plates
  • A genuine interest in people and creating a positive team culture
  • The ability to see around corners—anticipating what's needed before anyone asks
  • Confidence with HR processes and people matters
  • Proven experience with data management and operating systems, comfortable with technology, excel and various management tools
  • Excellent communication skills—you're as good in writing as you are in conversation
  • To be based in London and able to work from our Highbury studio at least 2 days per week

Salary Expectations and timeline

This role is offered at £38,000 to £45,000 based on experience. We would like to recruit and have our new studio manager join the team at the beginning of May to allow enough time for handover. This role is full time.
